Saturday: 15 mile hard effort run + 1.3 recovery miles = 16.3 miles total
I am so excited to have a three day weekend! Austin and I kicked it off with a Friday night at the gym. Yes... we are that awesome. I think it may become a regular Friday night event. We did some upper body stuff and somehow he convinced me to play basketball with him.
This morning I went on my long run with Team in Training - 16.3 more miles in the books. I really, REALLY enjoy running with the Team. I mean they are a bunch of people who are out to cure cancer so of course they are the nicest people that anyone has ever met... they spread some serious joy. With my miles for today I went over 100 for the month. Always love the day that happens - "One-derLand!" (From the Biggest Loser but can apply here too, right?) I practiced my race pacing strategy and killed it today - huge confidence booster! I'll save all of that for another post!
Tonight I am going to a benefit dinner with a prom theme - so stoked to wear this dress I was able to borrow from the Miss Washington County Beauty Pageant closet! I got to try on quite a few others but love the tea length and bright yellow!
Sunday I am going to host some peeps for the Sweat Pink Virtual Run. Monday I am going to... yep.. run some more!
